Spring In My Step . . .

 

snow is melting,it was in the fifties yesterday

flowers popping up inside

not outdoors though

soon, very soon

 

 

 

 this ceramic piece is one of my mother's collectibles

from the ceramic arts studio in madison, wisconsin
1914-1955

 

bright red appeared this morning

so very pretty

 



 

it started with having tea with a friend here on thursday morning

an hour later everything changed

miss kidney stone appeared again

off to emergency, there from noon until eight

admitted to the hospital, surgery yesterday

home again last night

 

 and changing plans just a bit

my family was to be here today for dinner

my daughter stepped in and we are going to her home 

 

if you have never had a kidney stone, don't

and no, it is not like having a baby

if you have had one, chances are they will return

i will spare the ugly details, believe me they are ugly

 they are just plain awful

 

the flowers my daughter brought to me this morning

cheered me considerably

off we go to be happily treated by family 
 

remember

it is a wonderful world

we need to believe it to be true

to make it so

 

be kind to one another
